Trimmers
The Trimmer Box has a clamshell design to span over existing or new trimmer chains for easy saw change and maintenance. The Line Shaft driven saw ladders reduce overall horse power required and eliminates 10-12 electric motors.
Sharp Chains
Sharp chain systems for both new or retrofit installations. Our products are precision made, economical to operate and CNC machined in house.
Shifting Gang Feed Table
This customizable electric driven feed table has pneumatically operated chromed press rolls, along with pneumatic skid pans that work together to positively index each cant for a smoother operation. The torque tube and the 5-1/2” diameter chrome round way slide base design allows up to 34” of shift, creating a variety of board widths.
Sharp Chain Sprockets
ASM’s upgraded CNC machining capabilities allow us to manufacture our precision machined sharp chain sprockets and produce a smoother running, better mating, chain and sprocket system.
Bandmill Re-Builds
ASM offers extensive re-build and modification services of your existing bandmills including changing hands, extending towers to accommodate larger lumber, in addition to wheel and arbor re-working to eliminate bearing wear.
ASM Carriage
ASM Carriage, 3 or 4 knee, slanted or flat, are assembled using precision machined components that are keyed to match the carriage frame. The result is an easy to maintain machine that requires no re-alignment or shimming.
ASM Tilt Hoist
ASM tilt hoist is constructed with heavy tube and pipe frame and is designed to handle 8’ to 24’ packages, single or double packs. We use RC180 package leveling chain design with package leveling (skewing) hydraulic cylinders. The three-stage telescoping hydraulic lift cylinder eliminates frame “racking”.
Slabbers & Canters
Using a heavy welded steel base, precision machined for precise alignment, our product shifts on 5-1/2” hardened chrome round ways, powered by 200-250 hp electric motors. ASM can accommodate any chipper head company you prefer and will work with them to ensure the perfect fit onto the 4-15/16 diameter arbor.
