In order to provide a complete machinery system and maintain the quality and dependability of that system, ASM supplies specifically designed power units for different applications which are built to withstand the sawmill environment. All our power units feature heat exchangers, which are several sizes larger than the “theoretical” design requirement because we know that most HPU’s live their life choked with sawdust and debris and rarely receive maintenance. All ASM power units are also built with thick walled, oversized reservoirs mounted on roomy bases with built-in drip pans. To complete the package ASM uses only the finest components such as Rexroth and Sauer-Danfoss hydraulic pumps and hydrostatic drives, Stauff and Pall filtration, and Toshiba electric motors.
